Pearl & Lewis : Wedding

It was such an honour for me to be the 'official' photographer at Pearl and Lewis' wedding. Pearl and I both studied at the same school (Hebron) and we had a pretty special connection: Pearl's sister and my sister were best friends at school, and my best friend's sister and Pearl were best friends :) I was a Prefect in my last year of boarding school, and I actually remember putting her and her classmates to bed at one point (that was one of our duties as prefects :)) So anyway, I was very excited to be given this opportunity!

The experience was one-of-a-kind, and I am putting up a few pictures from the wedding - I hope you enjoy them!

I asked Pearl if they would like to add some extra titbits of information which you will see below in her words.

We knew each other as church-goers for many years but never met. We met for a video project for the youth group and realised we were the ying to each other's yang. ;)  We've been inseparable since and even went to Florence to do our Masters together.

When he proposed I said "Are you serious?" Even though he was kneeling in front of me with a ring in his hand!

We both love music and art & spent months making our wedding decorations together.

Both of us stick out like sore thumbs i.e. his black nail polish and my crazy dress sense! ;)

(Check out Lewis' nail polish in the picture below. I love that he wore it to his wedding! And Pearl so looks so beautiful you can't really say she has a crazy dress sense!)

Initially he was so shy not many people had ever heard his voice! As opposed to my loud voice!

You can see some of Pearl & Lewis' hand-made decorations on the top-right corner picture of the above collage. It was a beautiful wedding, and I am so happy for these two lovely people who have found each other :) They were so relaxed during the whole wedding and they were great for me to work with :) Thanks again Pearl and Lewis - may you have a lovely life together! God bless.
