I was so excited last week to do a profile portrait photo shoot with my beautiful friend Gitu Sabu! It had been threatening to rain all day, but thankfully when the time came, the sun peeked out for a bit and we had really good weather. We managed to get some really good shots in spite of Gitu's paranoia of her 'feathered friends' that were clucking about around us! :)

Gitu is so photogenic and she made my job really easy and she was so much fun to work with. Gitu had suggested the venue for this shoot (St. George's School Chapel, Chetput) and I just loved the brick walls and the blue doors!

I hope you enjoy the photos and does anyone know of any other good venues for photo shoots in Chennai? Let me know :)

you should try Dakshina Chitra - well lit and not very crowded. Also some of the Cafe Coffee Day 's and McD's offer brightly colored BG, the crowd is the problem there.

good shots, btw!

Thanks for the ideas Joe! I will try that out sometime - and yes, Chennai is always full of people isn't it? It makes for a good challenge though :)

Gitu is gorgeous. You should just stroll into Goodshe campus. I don't know what it's like now, but looked very English when I was there.
